The Stramilano is one of the most popular events in Milan; for many years now it has registered more than 50.000 runners. Within the event there is the great 10 km "free style" race open to all, Stramilanina for the younger runners and the International Competitive Stramilano - Half Marathon km 21.09Z.

The city is well served by three airports with national and international flights (Linate, Malpensa and Bergamo Orio al Serio) and linked to the city with airport coaches or railway services.
