If you are of age, you can also use the Milano AmaMi Card for your payments. How does this work? Simply go to one of the authorised branches of the Intesa Sanpaolo Milan bank circuit or one of the ATM Points where you can request free activation of the card.
You can then charge your Milano AmaMi Card with the amount you wish to spend during your visit to Milan. The Card can only be charged up once for a maximum amount of 150 euro, at the time of the activation or at a later date.
After you have purchased credit you will also be able to use your Milano AmaMi Card to:

pay for your purchases in shops and businesses displaying the MasterCard logo by signing or entering your PIN number.

make purchases with the security of MasterCard SecureCode on internet sites that have an agreement with MasterCard.

withdraw cash at Intesa Sanpaolo branches.
Your payments can be even quicker. Pay at shops displaying the MasterCard PayPass logo for purchases of up to € 25: just tap the electronic reader with your card and in a few seconds a light and sound will be emitted to confirm payment.
